AiHud Music — Terms of Service (DRAFT)
Draft of 2026-10-21 for legal review. Not in force. Not legal advice.
1. The service. AiHud Music ("we", "AiHud") turns a chart you upload into a written musical arrangement: an arrangement plan, a free short preview, and — after payment — a full arrangement delivered as notation files (PDF, MuseScore .mscz, MusicXML) and a reference audio mockup (MP3). Arrangements are generated by AI software and engraved automatically. We aim for playable, idiomatic results but do not guarantee any particular musical outcome.
2. Your rights in what you upload. You may only upload music you are entitled to arrange. When you upload a chart you confirm that the composition (a) is in the public domain where you live, (b) is your own work, or (c) is covered by a licence from the rights holder that permits you to make and use this arrangement. You are responsible for that confirmation. An arrangement is a derivative work; a mechanical/recording licence does not cover it.
3. Use of the files. Delivered files are for your own private or ensemble use (rehearsal, performance where you hold the necessary performance licences, education). You may not sell, publish or distribute them, or upload them to sharing platforms, without the rights holder's permission. We never publish your arrangements.
4. Indemnity. You agree to indemnify AiHud against claims arising from material you upload or from your use of the delivered files in breach of these terms or of anyone's rights.
5. Our right to refuse or stop. We may decline, pause or stop any job — for example if a title appears to be a well-known copyrighted work without a licence, if a chart is unreadable, or if a job is abusive. If we stop a paid job, we refund it.
6. Copyright complaints (DMCA). If you believe material processed through AiHud Music infringes your copyright, write to [DMCA agent address — to be registered with the U.S. Copyright Office] with the information required by 17 U.S.C. §512(c)(3). We remove the material and, under our repeat-infringer policy, close the accounts of users who repeatedly infringe.
7. Prices and payment. The plan and one 16-bar preview per person are free. The full arrangement price is shown before you pay (by ensemble size) and is charged through PayPal. Revisions are charged separately when offered. Prices are in US dollars and may change for future orders.
8. Refunds. If a paid job fails, or the delivered arrangement does not follow the plan you confirmed, contact us within 14 days and we will re-run it or refund it in full, at your choice. Because the free preview shows you the style and quality before you pay, we do not otherwise refund completed arrangements.
9. Delivery and storage. Download links stay active for 90 days after delivery. After that we may delete the files. Keep your own copies.
10. Audio. The MP3 is a reference mockup made with openly licensed sample libraries (see CREDITS.txt in your package). For richer playback, open the .mscz in MuseScore Studio on your own computer with sound libraries you are licensed to use. "MuseScore" is a trademark of its owner; AiHud is not affiliated with or endorsed by MuseScore or Muse Group.
11. Limitation of liability. To the extent the law allows, AiHud's total liability for any job is limited to the amount you paid for it, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
12. Changes and contact. We may update these terms; the version shown when you order applies to that order. Contact: [support address — e.g. music@aihud.net]. Governing law: [to be decided].
